The overall decor feels bland and lacks character, making it hard to feel invested in the experience. There’s also a noticeable lack of attention to detail, such as tables not cleared at breakfast, giving the whole place a sense of neglect.

The location is a short walk downhill from the train station, right next to the stunning Lake Geneva. The staff is incredibly accommodating, printing boarding passes for us and offering useful travel tips. Our room was spacious and well appointed, providing a comfortable atmosphere.

While they have a lovely setup, the lack of designated parking may pose a challenge during high season.

However, I was less impressed with the attic room’s layout. the low ceilings made it tricky to navigate, especially when trying to open windows. Also, the motion sensor lights in the hallways felt unnerving. They often left the corridors dark and there was a delay before they activated. Still, the tranquil lakeside atmosphere made this a memorable stay.

We had a last-minute stay and everyone was super accommodating, even cooking us incredible burgers when we arrived late. The sun deck was a fantastic spot for some relaxation while enjoying the stunning lake views at sunrise and sunset. 😊
