missingWrote a review on Dec 01lake viewscharming terracebland decor
The hotel boasts stunning views of the lake, especially at sunrise and sunset, which add a scenic backdrop to the stay. The terrace offers a pleasant spot to enjoy breakfast while watching birds hop around the tables, adding a little charm.
Rooms can be disappointing, such as the attic room with deep dormer windows that pose a risk of bumping your head. Additionally, noise from traffic can disrupt the peace, especially from motorbikes revving late at night. The overall decor feels bland and lacks character, making it hard to feel invested in the experience. There’s also a noticeable lack of attention to detail, such as tables not cleared at breakfast, giving the whole place a sense of neglect.

The location is a short walk downhill from the train station, right next to the stunning Lake Geneva. The staff is incredibly accommodating, printing boarding passes for us and offering useful travel tips. Our room was spacious and well appointed, providing a comfortable atmosphere.
While they have a lovely setup, the lack of designated parking may pose a challenge during high season.

I found the location of Le Rive ideal, right on the shores of Lake Geneva with picturesque views from my balcony. The room was clean and spacious, featuring a comfortable setup and a lovely terrace for lounging. Staff members were particularly accommodating, helping with dinner reservations even though we arrived late and providing useful travel tips for our next destination. Breakfast was delightful, served on a terrace overlooking the lake where I enjoyed watching birds hop around. However, I was less impressed with the attic room’s layout. the low ceilings made it tricky to navigate, especially when trying to open windows. Also, the motion sensor lights in the hallways felt unnerving. They often left the corridors dark and there was a delay before they activated. Still, the tranquil lakeside atmosphere made this a memorable stay.

The location? Incredible, right on the lake! The staff hooked us up with an upgrade on our room—huge and comfy for a European spot! The AC was a lifesaver. Breakfast on that patio with the lake view? Pure vibe. Just watch out for the traffic noise if you’re on the first floor. Such a killer view though!

Friendly staff who were very accommodating and attentive to our requests made our stay enjoyable. The views over Lake Geneva from our room were stunning and the location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions.
However, the motion sensor lights in the hallways were a bit unnerving as they were often dark and took a moment to activate.
